Ardith Loretta Naifeh

Ardith Loretta Naifeh of Prattville, Alabama age 90 went home peacefully to the Lord on June 25,2024. Ardith was born on March 26,1934 in Mt Vernon, Iowa to Ora Alice Putney and Henry Lee Putney. Ardith was born to a large family that included 7 brothers and 3 sisters. As of today she is survived by one sister Susie Gordon and one brother Tim Putney. Preceded of the large family are her parents Ora and Henry, brothers Lee Putney, Kenneth Putney, Larry Putney, Morris Putney, Billy Putney, Tony Putney. Sisters preceded in death are Peggy Snider and Teresa Rude.Ardith was married to her husband “Babe” George Naifeh for 67 years before his passing in 2021. Ardith and George are now reunited together in their eternal resting place with the Lord. In her 90 years she resided half of it in Iowa where her and George started their family and were blessed with a son Jeff Naifeh (Lorna)and a daughter Jennifer Naifeh Corley (Ronnie). George and Ardith were then blessed later with six grandchildren, Zachary Naifeh (Kristin) Ian Naifeh, Noah Naifeh (Katie) Nicole Chance (Jason) Jonah Corley (Jennifer) Jessica Corley ( Fiance John) 18 Great Grandchildren all are surviving family today. She had many extended family and friends, including two fur babies Sophie and Bella (Pug dogs) who kept her going and on her feet daily!Ardith loved the Lord and her family very much! Ardith was mostly a homemaker for most of her years, as well as she worked in the grocery business and restaurant business as a waitress. She had a love for music and she use to sing at church in the choir and teach Sunday School. Ardith also liked to dance, as well as she had a green thumb and a variety of beautiful plants. In her years she use to be a seamstress and she made her children and grandchildren lots of gifts over the years. She loved life and lived it to the fullest! She was a fighter and very determined woman especially in her last years she was eager to live! Ardith was part of Irish decent from her mother and loved to celebrate St Patrick’s Day and she would refer to the Irish Blessing a lot, at the end it says May God hold you in the hollow of his hand and we know that is true today of Ardith! She will be missed by so many and her memories will live on forever! Mrs. Naifeh will be cremated at her request and her ashes will be combined with her husband! There will be a Celebration of Life Service This coming Saturday June 29th at 11:00 a.m with Pastor Ricky Smith and Jason Chance Officiating Prattville Community Church 266 West 5th Street Prattville Al 36067
